This is so simple, it hardly deserves a page.
But it is one of those "living a simple gluten free life" that can be overlooked.
Toasted almonds add a wonderful crunch to many gluten free dishes.
They could not be easier to make.
Buy raw slivered almonds.
Spread them on a cookie sheet and toast for 10 minute, or until golden brown, in your oven at 375 degrees.
Watch them so they do not burn. Let cool.
Pop them in the oven when a casserole is cooking and keep them on the counter to throw on a salad or in another dish such as Quinoa with Green Apples.
