Hummus

SERVES: 1-4

TIME: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 cups canned chickpeas, drained
  •  1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup tahini ( located in the Asian part of the grocery store or with the peanut butters)
  •  5 Tablespoons lemon juice
  •  2 Tablespoons olive oil
  •  a dash of cayenne pepper

Preparation

1.  Mince the garlic in a food processor.  Add the other ingredients and process until you reach a coarse puree.  

2.  Add more olive oil to make it thinner if you like.   

Serve chilled with chips or sugar snap peas.
