this is an awesomely easy recipe and my kids wanted seconds!! they have asked if i could put cranberries in it one time :-)

i think this will be something that i can keep on hand for a snack for them when they get home in the evening after swim practice.

I am allergic to dairy so I make everything with either coconut or almond milk. Rice milk is a little thin but either of the above work great in most recipes.

Baked Oatmeal

SERVES: 1-4

TIME: 1 hour

  • Egg Free

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cups certified Gluten Free Oats
  • 1/2 cups raisins
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups apples, cubed

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 

2. Stir all ingredients together and add to a 2-quart casserole. 

3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes.
